Princeton Saddened by the Passing of Mayor Fred Thomas

Mayor Fred Thomas at aged 70 passed away peacefully in Princeton on Friday May, 4.

A man of vision, Mayor Thomas' philosophy was to keep looking at the big picture, plan long-term but prioritize short-term, and to deal with the urgent issues efficiently and effectively. Mayor Thomas had been serving his first term on Princeton Town Council.

Mayor Thomas moved to Princeton to retire with his wife 16 years ago. Our sincerest condolences to his wife Lynn and her family.

A celebration of his life will be held at the United Church Hall on Saturday May 19 at 2:00 p.m.
