The Town of Princeton embarked on the development of a comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan in May of this year. This recreation plan is important for the future growth and enhancement of our recreational spaces for the next 10 years. This plan will outline strategies to meet the diverse needs and interests of our community members.
The Recreation Master Plan is strongly grounded in the community and include an inventory of current recreation facilities and programs, a community needs assessment, a vision for recreation in Princeton, recommendations for new and expanded facilities and programs, and an implementation plan with funding strategies over the next 10 years.
The recreation master plan focuses on recreation service in Princeton, which serve residents of the Town and area.
A 10-minute presentation video outlining the draft findings is available below with a survey that welcomes your input until November 29, 2024.
